Barbara Smith worked her way through X-ray school in the radiology file room, and graduated the Lee Memorial School of Radiologic Technology in 1992. With over 17 years of clinical experience, Barbara has lived through the analog-to-digital conversion in multiple institutions. Having worked in a variety of settings – from a rural hospital with 40 beds, to a major healthcare center with 1500 beds, in private imaging centers, and community outreach programs – her diverse background provides a unique perspective to the ever changing challenges in healthcare. She has worked with clients in the area of workflow, Mammography/MQSA certification, and Information System implementations.
