Val Kapitula has worked for 10 years in healthcare both as a clinician and consultant. His expertise bridges the IT perspective with the clinical need. He has navigated clients through the RFP and Implementation of Clinical Information Systems, including RIS, PACS, FFDM, and Post-processing. He brings a broad knowledge of the Imaging and Clinical Information System Market, including solutions, vendors and best practices to each of his clients.
Currently, Val is working as a Technical Consultant to provide leadership in the design and implementation of a statewide Clinical Data Repository and EMR. He is driven by a passion to achieve advances in healthcare technology that improve patient care.
